The House
Beach House Mundesley is a substantial detached Victorian House overlooking the sea on the coast road running through Mundesley, North Norfolk. We are five minutes from the centre of the village (see the ‘local area‘ page for more detail.)
The Ground Floor
The ground floor has been knocked through to be mainly open plan and includes a very large kitchen/diner, a large sitting room and downstairs cloakroom. The kitchen/diner and sitting room both have sea views. In the kitchen you will find all the usual appliances you would expect in a 5 Star rated holiday home; two fridges and a small freezer, range cooker, two dishwashers. You will also find a more unusual feature— a stunning original Victorian range. The kitchen table seats 14 to 16 people. And because the kitchen is such a sociable space there is also a sofa to watch TV (Sky & Netflix) or play Playstation 3 games (some family orientated games included).
The large sitting room is off the entrance hall too. It has two beautiful fireplaces, one with a real woodburner and one with an electric woodburner, sofas and chairs, and a spectacular sea view. There is a 42inch flat screen TV with Netflix films and freeview channels, and a DVD player and a few of DVDs to keep everyone happy. There is also a selection of traditional old-fashioned board games in the coffee table/blanket box. From the sitting room you can get out to the garden at the back through the French doors.

The Garden
The pretty, south facing cottage style garden has tables, chairs and an umbrella, a BBQ and deck chairs. It’s a real sun trap so if it’s chilly on the beach, but sunny, it will probably be warm enough to sit in the garden. We have deck chairs for this purpose!
The Mediterranean-style hot tub room has been designed for all year round use. In summer, open up the double doors to the garden and lie back and relax in the six person tub: it becomes virtually open air. You can watch the Swallows swooping backwards and forwards to their nests under the eaves of Beach House, it’s magical. In winter the room is centrally heated, so it isn’t cold and when lit by flickering candle light at night it really does feel like you are somewhere very far away from Norfolk! There is also a washer/dryer in the hot tub room hiding away behind the sauna.
We have selection of beach items—cricket set, buckets and spades etc in a container in the garden.
The First Floor
On the first floor are three bedrooms; two with sea views, one with a garden view. Bedroom 2 has a superking bed and a single bed (we call that one of our family rooms) with lovely sea views. One room is a kingsize room with a seaview and the other room on this level is a twin room.
There are two lovely bathrooms on this floor, one with a stunning copper bath, somewhat of a talking point! There is also a walk-in shower in this bathroom. The other bathroom has a shower over bath and corner whirlpool-bath (your own personal hot tub!).

The Second Floor
On the second floor you’ll find a further four bedrooms and a small bathroom with bath, toilet and shower bath. Bedroom 6 has a superking bed and a single bed (another family room) with a lovely sea view, one four poster kingsize room with a sea view and two twin rooms with garden views.
