Mundesley is a very pretty coastal village in North Norfolk with an award winning Blue Flag beach, the sandy beach is ideal for children. Step out of Beach House, cross the road, walk down the old lifeboat launching slope and you are right there, on the beach. No need for a beach hut! Surfers and body boarders are a regular sight during the summer and even during the winter!
Mundesley village is very pretty and picturesque with most of the facilities you would need during a stay. There is a florist, grocer, hardware store, chemist, general stores, tea rooms, pubs, take-aways, restaurants, butchers & deli, gift shop.
The walks in and around Mundesley are breath-taking: the coastal path really spectacular. You can walk to Cromer along the beach in 2.5 hours! Mundesley also has a golf course which welcomes visiting players and horse riding can be arranged nearby too.
Further afield, Cromer is within a 15 minute drive round the coast with its beautiful Victorian pier and ‘End of The Pier’ show at the theatre in the Summer and at Christmas is not to be missed!
Of course all the other attractions of a holiday in Norfolk are within reach should you decide to leave the beach! |
